​"Do you want fries with that" Award - January 2017

 

Now this is a phrase used by MacDonald’s in order to up sell. However Information Services Management have transformed this into as Offering Great Service – asking our customers if there is anything more that we can do for them.


This award is to recognise staff excellence within Information Services. It will be awarded quarterly.

To that end the first recipient of this award is Arshi.


Arshi has received lots of great feedback from customers during her time with the Service Desk and such as:


"Always sends nice bright friendly emails!!!!  Always a pleasure to deal with her."

 "Arshi is always responsive, knowledgeable and professional."


Arshi has taken on lots of additional responsibilities within the team, including stand-in supervisor, go to person for Moodle enquiries, and is flourishing in her secondment with AB&L, for Learning Technology.


To add to this, Arshi was voted runner up in the SDI awards, for Service Desk Superhero 2016. This is a UK wide Service Industry recognised award which is voted on by their peers.


Arshi’s SDI Superhero Alter Ego was “The Juggler – simultaneously handling support requests however they come. Phone, email, twitter, face to face – she does it all with a smile!”


It is clear to all of us who work with Arshi day in day out why she was voted for Service Desk Superhero and it’s great that our customers recognise this too.


I would also like to extend congratulations to Willie, James, Malcolm and Nick who all made the top 20 in the SDI Service Desk Superhero 2016 competition.
