​Corporate Systems Team Shortlisted for Impact Awards 2017

Following a submission from Information Services’ Corporate Systems Team, we are pleased to announce that Edinburgh Napier University has been  shortlisted for an MHR Impact Award under the following category: “Greatest Organisational Impact from HR solutions”.

The Award submission described how the University utilised iTrent and the reporting tool Edge as a solution for:

• People Information – to provide or enable real-time accurate people information to key users e.g. Workforce Overviews, Staff Turnover, Process Compliance and Data Quality as and when needed.
• System Integration - to enable us to use people data for system integration with core business applications.

The submission highlighted that Edinburgh Napier are harnessing technology, driving HR forwarding and achieving business objectives by: 

• Adding strategic value through people information. 
• Embedding people information in people process development and continuous improvement.

The winners will be announced at the MCA Conference which will be held on 30 October 2017 at the Hinckley Island Hotel.
