The European Commission’s Erasmus+ exchange programme offers funding for staff to spend a short period of time at one of the University's partner universities in Europe either teaching, work shadowing or attending an Erasmus+ staff training week.
The onus is on the staff member to organise the visit while the Global Mobility Team will facilitate and administer the application for Erasmus+ funding.
There are two types of visit:
For Academic staff, to teach students at one of the University’s partner institutions for a minimum of 8 hours/2 days.
For Professional Services and other support staff, to workshadow a colleague in a similar role abroad at one of the University’s partners. Alternatively, to attend an international staff training week run by a range of institutions.
