The University’s
International Operations and Student Recruitment Directorate supports the delivery of the wider University and Internationalisation Strategies.
Our International Operations functions seek to grow the University’s international profile through increasing the number of international students studying in Edinburgh, online and through our programmes delivered overseas (TNE).
We also lead activity which will enable the University to meet and (where appropriate) exceed institutional targets for student recruitment through the development of innovative and effective administration, recruitment and marketing strategies, underpinned by evidence and best practice. The directorate is also responsible for the delivery of professional, fair and transparent admissions, visa and immigration and international support processes, as well as the delivery of the University’s English as a Foreign Language Provision.

Professional Service Standards document can be found
