Business improvement, sometimes referred to as process improvement or continuous improvement, is about improving the way we work in order to deliver measurable benefits to ourselves, staff colleagues, and to our students.
The overall aim is to create time for staff to focus on value adding activities and to enhance the student experience. A Business Improvement Group (BIG) has been set up to help facilitate improvements to the way the University works by providing strategic direction, and by helping to empower staff to make improvements.
Firstly, we are creating a framework for improvement, which links together all of the good work we already do in a way that everyone can understand, and anyone can use.
