​Peer Support for Teaching

Peer observation, review and support for your teaching are amongst the most simple yet powerful ways in which you can get better as a teacher. This new Peer Support for Teaching tool is here to help you find a colleague willing to provide peer support for your work and, in return, you will have the chance to support them in their work.

Using this tool is voluntary and developmental – it is not part of any formal PDR or management process and is available to anyone within Edinburgh Napier who is involved in teaching. It is designed to encourage staff to observe, review and support not only lectures and seminars but other important areas of teaching practice such as online teaching, Moodle resources, assessment and feedback, and lab work/practicals.
