Course Overview

This session will support leaders and managers in creating a feedback culture, fuelling high performance by providing recognition, support, redirection and challenge - ensuring our people feel they are valued and helping them perform at their best.

Who should attend?

People managers at every level

Course content, objectives and outcomes:

By the end of this session you will:

• Have a clear and refreshed sense of why feedback is important and what stops us doing it
• Understand the four dimensions of feedback and which is your ‘hot spot’
• Know how to use the six ingredients of feedback to effectively set-up and conduct feedback conversations
• Know how to use a simple model (SBI) to help structure your words and approach
• Have experience talking through scenarios from real working life around ENU
• Have clear actions to take away and try with your team

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn best practice approaches to giving, seeking, receiving and acting on feedback.
• Share learning, understanding and experience with their peers.
