Learning and Teaching Network @ Edinburgh Napier

LTNEN_logo.jpg

The Learning and Teaching Network @ Edinburgh Napier launched in October 2020, building on the legacy of the Teaching Fellows Community. It aims to establish a learning and teaching network within which each member is resolute in their determination to develop and share their practices within a supportive community which is prepared to challenge thinking at a local, School, University and sector level. Membership of the LTN@EdNapier is inclusive – it includes all HEA Fellows and invites individuals from the Learning and Teaching Promotions Pathway, and anyone whose practice involves teaching and/or the support of learning.

This network is now growing since its launch, and conversations are happening within a dedicated MS Teams site for the Learning & Teaching Network. Please contact Prof Sam Illingworth for further information.

Strategic Enhancement Project funding

The Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement (DLTE) oversees the Strategic Enhancement Project funding (formerly Learning and Teaching Network @ Edinburgh Napier Grant Scheme). The grant scheme is designed to support small-scale projects focused on learning, teaching and assessment practices to enhance the student experience. The overall aim of the scheme is to develop and share good practice, aligned with University priorities and student needs. Projects are typically led by individuals holding HEA Fellowship, but this is not essential. However, the project lead will need to be a member of the Learning and Teaching Network. The active engagement of students in developing, delivering and evaluating projects is a requirement.

Find out more about the Strategic Enhancement Project funding on the DLTE Hub.
