I am a Research Fellow in the Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement at Edinburgh Napier University and primarily work on the Digital Support Partnership Research Project​.

My PhD, from University of Strathclyde, explored primary 1 children’s metacognition using visual methods. My research interest is in metacognition and more broadly, in how people make sense of their learning and teaching experiences. I have a keen interest in mixed methods research, visual and creative research methods, and the use of pedagogical tools in research.
