The salary scales below include National Insurance and pension costs for budgeting purposes, as well as individual salaries aligned to pay points and hourly rates of pay.

The salary scales are reviewed annually, and we currently participate in national pay bargaining with Trade Unions through the employer's association, UCEA. This process determines the increase that is applied to salary points with Grades 1 to 7, automatically each year. We are committed to paying the Real Living Wage for all paid work across the University and are an accredited Living Wage Employer.
