Who We Are

Our function includes four dedicated teams led by Andrew Quickfall, Head of Planning and Business Intelligence:

• Planning and Performance

• Business Intelligence

• Market Intelligence

• Data Governance 

We cover a wide range of activities to support evidence-based decision making and implementation and delivery of Edinburgh Napier University’s strategy. We are passionate about effective use of data and unlocking its potential to make decisions across the University.

Some of our key activities involve:

• Co-ordinating the annual planning and budgeting process 

• Academic and Student Number Planning and forecasting

• Tuition Fee forecasting and planning 

• Performance reporting e.g. Key Performance Indicators

• In-year reporting 

• Statutory and Funding Reporting

• Insight and Analysis

• Co-ordination of student surveys

• Engagement with Scottish Funding Council and lead for Outcome Agreement
