At the meeting of the University’s governing body, University Court, on 28 October 2024, Court
- Received a report from its Nominations Committee on Court and Committee membership.
- Received a report on the Principal appointment process which had resulted in the appointment of Professor Sue Rigby as Principal and Vice-Chancellor from 1 January 2025.
- Received and noted reports on the ‘Your Voice’ colleague engagement survey, student surveys and league table performance.
- Received a report on the University’s provisional financial results for 2023/24.
- Received a report on the University's financial position as at the end of August 2024.
- Received an update on ENSA’s progress against its Strategic Plan.
- Received an update on the work undertaken to support student and colleague mental health and wellbeing in 2023/24.
- Received a report on the issues surrounding Trusted Research and international security.
- Noted the minutes of Academic Board, Finance and Property Committee and Audit & Risk Committee.
- Noted its indicative forward schedule of business for the coming session.
Open minutes of the October 2024 meeting will be published after their approval at the December 2024 meeting.
