Logistics is responsible for the following services:
Mailroom - delivery and collection of all mail across all campuses, and processing.
First and Second class mail, under 30 items, does not require a form to be completed.
For all other mail services there will be a charge to your budget code. To request these services, please complete the Priority Mail Request Form.
Central Receiving Stores - receipt and despatch of all non desktop deliveries
Transport - transportation of goods, materials and equipment between all
campuses are organised through Facilities Helpdesk.
Porters - room set-ups for teaching, meetings and functions. Departmental
room relocations should be requested through Facilities Helpdesk.
In addition the following services are also provided:
- Advice on best method for bulk and speed mail.
- Arrangements for courier services.
- Removal of redundant equipment, both general & electrical.
- Removal of confidential waste.
The operational management of Logistics services are provided by the Logistics Supervisor.
