International Marketing, Intelligence and Support
The International Marketing, Intelligence and Support team is responsible for three areas.
Support international recruitment and conversion through online and digital marketing campaigns and market-specific resources. Also develop the Edinburgh Napier Global brand and all associated marketing activities for the University’s transnational education (TNE) initiatives overseas.
Undertake market research to support the International Recruitment Strategy and the development of new TNE programmes, empowering the International Recruitment team and schools to reach their targets through regular and accurate market intelligence.
Provide administrative support to International Operations to ensure the smooth running of the team.
If you would like to know more, please contact Dawn Munro, International Marketing Manager, on firstname.lastname@example.org or extension 3225.
The International Programmes team work closely with academic colleagues to support the development and delivery of transnational education (TNE) programmes in locations such as Hong Kong, Singapore and China. The University currently has over 4,500 students studying these programmes, and plans to grow this activity. Our new Online and TNE Strategy outlines our future plans in this area.
We provide support and advice on the development of new TNE programmes, as well as providing full administrative support for all current TNE programmes.
For further information, please contact Jane Gregson, International Programmes Manager, on email@example.com or extension 4267.
English as a Foreign Language
The English as a Foreign Language (EFL) team offer pre-sessional courses designed to improve prospective students’ English language skills, and prepare them for UK academic culture and life in Edinburgh. We do this by offering a range of courses including short four-, six- and eight-week pre-sessional programmes, and eight- and twelve-month long English courses.
We also help schools organise credit- and non-credit-bearing short courses and summer schools tailored to suit different needs and requirements, for example to:
- respond to an overseas organisation’s request
- engage in international student activities
- enhance relationships with existing partners
- increase student numbers enrolled on a programme (intensive, credit-bearing courses)
If you would like to find out more, please contact Megan Blakemore on firstname.lastname@example.org or extension 4455.
The Global Online team supports schools with the development, delivery and enhancement of global online programmes across the University. With over 1,200 students studying global online programmes, a key objective of the Online and TNE Strategy is to extend the number of programmes across the University.
The team has two areas of responsibility – supporting the development and enhancement of global online, and supporting the delivery.
