Edinburgh Napier has helped shape a training model for identifying and supporting people with autism and sight loss.
The University took part in a two-year Scottish Government-funded project with the Royal National Institute of Blind People and Scottish Autism.
The Autism and Sight Loss project showed that educating autism practitioners in vision awareness has increased access to eye care and improved day-to-day support services.
