16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign which starts on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
Gender-based violence and sexual misconduct is an issue affecting all aspects of society and we want to make sure that it's not a part of university life. Be a part of something important and help make a difference.

How to get involved
You can help to make Edinburgh Napier a safer place by signing up to free online training and educating yourself about consent. The training will:
- Help you to understand consent and why it matters so much
- Explain how to be clear in your communication about consent and to understand and be clear about your boundaries
- Teach you how to look out for yourself and others
- Help tackle harassment and promote cultural change within the University community

Resources and support
If you've been subjected to any form of misconduct, please consider reporting it to us either anonymously or to one of our advisers via
Report and Support.
If you've recently been raped or sexually assaulted, it’s understandable if you don’t know what to do or where to turn. The
NHS Sexual Assault Response Coordination Service (SARCS) is a dedicated service which can offer healthcare and support in the days after an assault if you’re not ready or unsure whether to go to the police.
