Description
A safety information course designed to provide basic guidance and training in safety issues relating to the workplace.
This is an Institute of Occupational Safety & Health accredited course. An IOSH certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course
Participants will cover the following topics and issues
- Introduction
- Defining hazards and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
- Protecting the environment

Attendance must be agreed with your HOD/ Line Manager before booking
Charges
To attend: Free to members of staff
Cancellations & non-attendance:
Cancellations will be accepted up to 10 working days before the event starts. Thereafter, your department will be charged at £40 per person for cancellations and non attendance on the day, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
