The Black Ivy is a lovely, luxury boutique hotel situated in the Bruntsfield area of the city. With a range of double and single rooms, some with views across the park, there is something to suit everyone. The hotel also benefits from its own bar and a well priced and varied menu. The Black Ivy is situated on the Bruntsfield Links, and is just a 5 minute walk from the Meadows, two very popular parks for walks and relaxing in the sun. The Black Ivy is only a 20 minute walk from the city centre and Waverley train station, however it is also conveniently located near a number of bus services. For those delegates who choose to drive, the Black Ivy is only a 10 minute drive from the event here at Craiglochart.

Situated adjacent to the beautiful Braidburn Valley Park, the Braid Hills Hotel offers a range of rooms, free parking, restaurant and a bar. The hotel also offers unchallenged panoramic views of Edinburgh with views of the Peatland Hills to the south of the city. The Braid Hills Hotel is also just an 8 minute drive from the city centre and a 20 minute journey by public transport with regular busses stopping right outside the hotel. The Hotel is also just a 5 minute drive from Craiglochart campus which is also easily reached by foot in around 20 minutes.

Granville Guesthouse

The Granville Guesthouse is an attractive elegant Victorian building located in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh. The Granville is situated only a 15 minute walk from Princes Street and within walking distance from other attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and Waverley train station. The hotel is also just a 20 minute journey by taxi from the airport and a 15 minute bus ride from Craiglochart campus, with the bus stopping right across the road! The hotel consists of a number of double and family rooms and the family at the Granville have informed us that room prices range from £50-55 per person, per night.
