Enhancing the Curriculum

Student Development & Wellbeing has a remit to support programme and module teams to enhance learning around employability and professional development.  Our aim is to support the University in its strategic objective to develop 'confident, employable graduates'.  We will work with you to customise employability skills development, specific to the needs of your students.

Our services for staff include:

•  Support for embedding Graduate Attributes and employability into the curriculum
•  The Conscious Employability Model
  
•  Support for personal and professional development planning activity
  
•  A resource for staff incorporating work placements into their curriculum
  
•  A resource for staff incorporating volunteering into their curriculum
  
•  Access to information on employers and first destinations of leavers from higher education

Our services for students (and which can be tailored for your student group) include:

•  The Confident Futures programme (personal skills for professional development).
  
•  The Careers programme and on-line resources

In addition, Student Development & Wellbeing are responsible for maintaining the "Stand Out from the Crowd" website pages which encourage students to consciously develop their Graduate Attributes and build their CVs.
