We’ve listened to student feedback and are now offering more choice and flexibility as to how they will graduate this summer.
Students will no longer have to purchase a graduation package to attend the ceremony at the Usher Hall. Instead, they’ll be able to build their own package to suit their particular needs and those of their friends and family.
Tickets to attend the ceremony at the Usher Hall will be sold individually. Students will have to purchase a ticket to graduate and can then buy up to a maximum of three guest tickets. These tickets will be reserved as part of the graduation application process.
Tickets for graduation receptions will now be booked separately via the online store. Receptions will be hosted in the main building at Craiglockhart campus and refreshments and canapés will be served. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis.
Graduating in absentia is also changing. Students still need to apply to graduate in absentia and receive their parchment after the ceremony, but there will no longer be any charge for this service.
