​Edinburgh Napier Student Futures Placement Team are here to support students during their placement search.

Through our placement preparation programmes students will be able to access a range of digital employability tools to support them in securing a placement. This ranges from applying for a placement, including advice on how to search for a placement, using their networks, developing a CV and cover letter and preparing for placement interviews. 

Placements broaden our students’ horizons by helping them develop and inform career aspirations, whilst applying the theories and techniques they learn at university in real life situations.  They allow students to learn new skills, expand their professional network and benefit from a work-based learning experience. 

Edinburgh Napier University’s Placements Teamwork with employers of all sizes and from all sectors. Our dedicated team can support with the recruitment and shortlisting of potential placement students for employers and are there to offer assistance throughout the placement.
