Title
The application window for the Researcher Development Fund 2019-2020 is now open

Description

The application window for the Researcher Development Fund 2019-2020 is now open.

What is the fund and can I apply for it?
The strategy of the funding is to enable doctoral students and early career research staff to initiate, design, manage and deliver new professional development activities for their peers, which will in turn develop the skills and experience needed to progress their own careers.

This initiative is intended to support personal, professional and career development for the lead researcher and their peers at Edinburgh Napier. Any funded project should contribute to the wider research culture of the University, and should have clear benefits beyond the personal development of the lead researcher alone. The fund is not designed for funding research projects directly, nor is it designed to support travel to conferences or attendance at conferences, unless as a part of a wider development project.

Applicants are invited to apply for funding to organise an event or initiative between 1 January and 31 July 2020.

See more information, including how last year’s winners found the funding on the RIO blog, here.
