At the meeting of the University Court
on 22 March…
- Court received a
presentation on the University’s philanthropic fundraising activity and noted a
report on the University’s ongoing planning and response activity to the
Covid-19 pandemic
- A report on staff
and student health and wellbeing support was noted, and an update on the
implementation of the new University Strategy and the strategy-level KPIs was
received
- Reports on the
University’s current financial position, Brexit implications and student
recruitment were noted
- An update report
on the outcomes of the Short Life Working Group established to look at BAME
inclusion was received and the ENSA Annual Report and Accounts were noted
- The Complaints
Annual Report, Career Development of Researchers Concordat Annual Report and
Top Risks Monitoring Report were all noted as were the Minutes of the Academic
Board meeting on 5 March and reports from the meetings of Court’s
sub-committees

Open minutes of the March 2021 meeting
will be published after their approval at the June 2021 meeting.
