At the meeting of the University Court on 25 October…

• Court approved amendments to the terms of reference of its sub-committees and approved arrangements for undertaking a review of its effectiveness
  
  
• An update on the University’s ongoing planning and response activity to the Covid-19 pandemic was received and the University’s provisional financial results for 2020/21 were noted
  
  
• Reports on student surveys and league tables were considered and the University’s response to the SFC review of coherent provision and sustainability was noted
  
  
• Updates on the implementation of the Internationalisation Strategy, the Mountain Bike Innovation Centre project and ENSA’s progress against its strategic plan were also noted
  
  
• A proposal for an Honorary Award was also approved
  
  
• The Minutes of the Academic Board meeting on 15 October were noted, as were reports from the meetings of Court’s sub-committees and the forward schedule of Court business for 2021/22
