The University’s third annual Above & Beyond Awards took place at Craiglockhart last month, as we recognised individuals and teams from across the University for their contributions throughout 2018.
With more than 100 colleagues in attendance, the alumni themed event saw host Geoff Day and celebrity guest Carol Kirkwood in fine form, with entertainment from Edinburgh Napier graduate and UK Close Up Magic Champion, Elliot Bibby.
The glitzy ceremony saw winners announced across eight categories, handpicked by an independent panel of academics and professionals from the 262 nominations we received.

On the night, we also celebrated staff who have given 25 years’ service, those promoted in 2018, colleagues who achieved HEA fellowship in 2018 and our ENSA Excellence Award winners.
It was a fantastic evening and one to remember for all attendees.
