As part of the Entrepreneur in Residence programme,
Jamie Graves is running a series of workshops over a three week period to
provide anyone who has a business idea, or is interested in starting or
becoming part of a start-up, some insights into the fundamentals of how to go
about testing your idea.
This workshop series involves six sessions over
three weeks:
Session 1
Team building and leadership, entrepreneurship and
exploring the motivation to create a start-up. Introduction to the elevator
pitch.
- Monday 15 March, 3pm to 4.30pm - intros,
initial discussions/presentations/homework overview
- Friday 19 March, 10am to 11.30am - group
presentation and discussion of the first task
Session 2
Value propositions, customer discovery, elevator
pitch part two.
- Monday 22 March, 3pm to 4.30pm - intros, initial
discussions/presentations/homework overview
- Friday 26 March, 10am to 11.30am - group
presentation and discussion of the first task
Session 3
Business model canvas creation, elevator pitch part
three.
- Monday 29 March, 3pm to 4.30pm - intros, initial
discussions/presentations/homework overview
- Friday 2 April, 10am to 11.30am - group
presentation and discussion of the first task
If you cannot make any of these sessions then they
will be re-run and everyone is welcome to attend as many or as few as they
wish.
