hip-hop group Stanley
Odd – comprised of Edinburgh Napier staff and alumni
from the BA Popular Music programme – have been shortlisted for Scottish Album
of the Year!
Nine
of the ten albums on the shortlist were selected by an industry panel, with
Stanley Odd’s latest cut, ‘STAY ODD: The Magic of Everyday Things’, winning the
public vote to take the tenth and final slot.
With
big names like Biffy Clyro, Mogwai and Arab Strap joining them on the shortlist,
the competition will be fierce.
The
Scottish Album of the Year Award winner will be announced at a ceremony at the
Usher Hall on Saturday 23 October. Edinburgh Napier is rooting for you, Stanley Odd!
