Colleague wellbeing is at the heart of what we do at ENU, and to ensure colleagues have the best support available for their health and wellbeing, we’ve now launched our new Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with MCL Medics.
MCL Medics EAP is your ticket to positive lifestyle changes, in just a few clicks. They have 20 years of experience to help support your wellbeing through all sorts of challenges, big and small, at work or at home.
MCL Medics provide three key services for all colleagues:
- Online portal and App which offers a library of health and wellbeing articles. In addition to this, there are resources on nutrition and fitness, including yoga videos and a range of lifestyle information. This includes debt management, parenting and family guides and how to achieve a good work/life balance.
- Counselling Service that gives you the opportunity to benefit from one of our specialised dedicated counsellors who are on hand to help you over the telephone, via video and face to face.
- Access to their legal and financial helpline which supplies information and financial advice on a range of issues you may need help with.
The new EAP can help with a number of problems you may face, including:
- Healthy eating
- Lifestyle changes
You can book services discreetly through their app (search MCL Medics EAP), or website, in under a minute to meet with their experts face to face, or online. Ultimately, it’s whatever you feel comfortable with. Join the app to benefit from counselling with specialists alongside access to a library of health and wellbeing information. From yoga sessions to science-backed articles, it’s all at your fingertips free of charge.
To log in please access the app or visit online and register your account. You’ll be asked to enter your unique company code which is 646408. Then proceed with entering your personal information.
The EAP service is strictly confidential. They won’t alert anyone in your team, department or the University that you have used their services. Your privacy is important to them, so their records are kept separate from any medical or personnel files ENU or your doctor keeps. In fact, no one has access to the EAP records except for EAP.
A full EAP User Guide can be found here, and FAQs can be accessed here.
