Who should attend
This workshop is aimed at staff who are required to carry out Risk Assessments in compliance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (amended 1999).
Participants will cover the follow topics and issues
- What is Risk Assessment?
- The interesting part – where it comes from!
- Hazards
- Persons affected
- Existing control measures
- Risk rating
- Additional controls
- Who should complete it
- What to do with it
- Inspection of a live workplace environment - practical exercise
- Consolidate learning and understanding

Attendance must be agreed with your HOD/ Line Manager before booking
Charges
To attend: Free to members of staff
Cancellations & non-attendance
Cancellations will be accepted up to 10 working days before the event starts. Thereafter, your department will be charged at £40 per person for cancellations and non attendance on the day, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
