Edinburgh Napier University and our Chaplaincy partners would like to invite students and staff – of all faiths and none – to attend a vigil for peace at Morningside United Church next week.
The conflict in Ukraine has left us shocked and saddened by the ongoing violence and suffering of the people there, and we are reminded also of the suffering of those around the world in other areas of conflict.
This is an opportunity for our University community to come together and light a candle, listen to some music and join us in some readings as we reflect on our hopes and wishes for peace.
The vigil will take place on Monday 7 March from 12.30pm-1.30pm at Morningside United Church, 15 Chamberlain Road, Edinburgh – you'll find it at Holy Corner near to our Merchiston campus.
