We're excited to announce our latest wellbeing initiative, "Spring into Wellbeing," building upon success of the annual ENU Walking Challenge. Starting on Monday 4 March, the campaign aims to infuse energy, encourage team building and healthy competition, while promoting overall wellbeing this Spring. All you have to do is record your 'active minutes' -be it walking, running, cycling, swimming, or even volunteering – and submit them each day.Sign up:

Create a Team:
Rally your colleagues to form a team of up to five members – you'll keep each other motivated and accountable. Your team captain should make sure they have read the guidelines and are committed to submitting the team's activity each week.
Log your active minutes:
Active minutes are the number of minutes the activity you're doing is more strenuous than regular walking, which includes everything from a brisk walk to a cardio workout or run.
You should record your active minutes each day like the following:
Date | Activity | Minutes | Total Mins for Day |
Mon 4 March | Get off the bus three stops before usual stop on way to campus | 20
| Podcast eating lunch | 10 | |
| Walk the dog PM | 40 | 70 |
Tue | Bootcamp class PM | 60
| Mindfulness App before bed | 15 | 75 |
Wed | Walk the dog AM | 30 | |

Fitness trackers like FitBit, MyFitness Pal, or your smartphone's health app can help you monitor your progress. If you don't have a tracker, you can manually count your active minutes by adding up the minutes you use on each activity.
Staying motivated:
There are many ways to keep active, from walking your dog to getting off the bus a stop or two early. Every little truly does count! You team members and the online community can help you stay motivated so please make use of them.
Don't forget to explore ENGAGE and try new activities to keep you going.
Healthy competition:
The top three teams with the highest amount of logged activity at the end of the challenge will be rewarded with exciting prizes.
1st prize: three-month free membership at ENGAGE
2nd prize: one-month free membership at ENGAGE
3rd prize: ENU T-shirt
Spring into Wellbeing invites all colleagues to embrace an active lifestyle in a fun and competitive manner. By logging your active minutes, you'll not only propel yourself up the leaderboard but also contribute to a healthier, more vibrant workplace culture.
