Check out the JISC Digital Discovery Tool team's new question set for colleagues - Digital skills in AI and generative AI.
This allows you to follow a questionnaire to reflect on your own skills, and curated resources to help support the development of new skills and knowledge (your answers remain private).
This has been developed with colleagues in the National Centre for AI in Tertiary Education - Jisc (NCAITE) and covers the following areas;
- Responsible AI
- AI and digital proficiency
- AI and digital productivity
- AI and information and data literacy
- AI and digital communication
- AI and collaboration and participation
- AI and digital creativity
The JISC Digital Capabilities team will continue to add to this collection over the next few months. They know that this is an area that is rapidly evolving and they are committed to reviewing the question sets every three months.
They are currently developing a student question set for AI and digital skills (with a target release date of mid-March).

Go to the Digital Discovery Tool website.
To log in, choose Edinburgh Napier University from the drop-down list of institutions and log in using your usual University login and password. The first time you log in, you will be asked to create an account.
Choose Discovery tool for staff > Question sets and reports for staff. Then you'll see different question sets for staff, including the new set Digital Skills in AI and Generative AI.
