The
Process Spotting and Mapping online
training course includes three short interactive sessions that will
introduce you to the concepts of working with processes and process maps. The
sessions will take place over three consecutive days:
Session one – 9 June,
10am to 11am
Getting
set up with Microsoft Whiteboard; understanding what makes a good map; defining
and identifying processes.
Session two – 10 June,
10am to 11am
Identifying
features and types of process map, and critically evaluating mapping types
against use.
Session three – 11
June, 10am to 11am
Using
software to construct a process map and share.
At
the end of these online sessions, participants will have a basic awareness of
creating a functional process map. Delegates will be on their way to creating
process maps online for themselves and their teams.
This
course will cover the same material in process spotting and mapping as previous
face-to-face sessions so it’s not recommended for colleagues who have already undertaken
this training.
You
will need a device – a desktop, laptop or Mac – on which you can download and
run Microsoft Whiteboard. This will allow you to fully interact in the online
space. You will not be able to participate in this training without this
prerequisite.
Places
are limited – you can book your slot via the Learning
& Development page on the staff intranet.
