Management Accounting
Overview
The Management Accounting team provides support to senior management, Deans of Schools, Directors / Heads of Departments and other stakeholders in the management of their financial resources.
Located in room 6:B:31 on the Sighthill campus, we are responsible for providing sound financial support, advice, information and guidance to aid senior management decision making thus enabling the University to achieve its financial objectives.
Strategic Support
We support the development of the University's strategic plans through the provision of financial analysis, performance analysis, benchmarking information and advice as required.
Providing financial information in a timely consistent and effective manner assisting budget holders achieve the financial elements of their overall strategic objectives. Supporting the University's efforts to meet its statutory obligations by assisting in the compilation of its Annual Accounts.
Operational Support
Our operational support involves providing advice and guidance to Deans of Schools, Directors / Heads of Departments and other budget holders during budgeting, reporting, forecasting and other financial operational issues.
