Academic Skills Development

The Student Advisers in Skills and Learner Development offer a range of services designed to support students’ academic skills development. Each trimester we run a series of open academic skills workshops, covering academic writing, critical thinking, presentation skills, referencing, dissertation management, and exam revision.

We will also work with you to customise academic skills development for your students to be delivered in Week One or during the trimester.

Top-up courses are available in maths and communication skills, and the Get Ready for University Study website hosts a range of academic skills resources for students.
