Funding for 50th Anniversary Events
The 50th Anniversary Celebrations, running throughout 2014 are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate successes, thank staff and students for their contribution to the University, and to engage our many stakeholders.
There will be a number of events and activities happening throughout the year that are managed centrally by IDEA, however faculties and service areas are encouraged to co-ordinate activity at a local level to celebrate their own achievements. A ring-fenced pot of £35,000 has been made available to assist faculties and service departments to do this.
Applications for funding should be submitted via the nominated Project Champion on a bi-monthly basis. Multiple applications received within one area will be ranked by the Dean/Director of Service, prior to being submitted to the Director of IDEA.

All applications should be submitted through the Faculty/Service Area 50th Anniversary Champion. Where multiple applications are received in one area, these will be ranked and approved by the Dean/Service Director. Deadlines for submitting applications are as follows:
5pm on Wednesday 23rd April 2014
5pm on Wednesday 18th June 2014
5pm on Wednesday 20th August 2014
5pm on Wednesday 22nd October 2014
