Building Maintenance

We ensure that the building fabric of the University owned properties is maintained to a high standard, in a safe and efficient manner.  Our maintenance is carried out in compliance with all relevant current legislation by a combination of directly employed staff and specialist contractors.

Building maintenance within the university is carried out by a team of experienced building maintenance staff.  The in house team operates within a flexible working agreement and is therefore able to carry out a wide range of duties.  Members of the team are based at each of the main campuses.

 

A wide range of external contractors are also utilised to help with the aim of developing a high standard of service.
