Recent Projects


Riady Theatre


​​Riady refresh following sizeable donation from Dr Riady.  State of the Art Audio-visual upgrade.  Replacement seating installation, flooring, upgrade of wall finishes and acoustic.


The facility provides the highest level of technology complemented with a clear, innovative and simple end-user application, allows the lecturer to focus on engagement and collaboration with in-person and hybrid remote participants.




​DLTE Pilot Active Learning Space


​The Pilot Active Learning Space is designed to support a student-centered, active learning approach, where tutors facilitate and students take control of their learning experience.  The space is large, flexible and equipped with reconfiguration furniture, abundant power and wireless bandwidth to accommodate classes of all sizes.


Key features include display screens, varied writing surfaces, moveable seating and user-friendly technology.



​Post Graduate Research Space


The Post Graduate Team situated at Sighthill Campus received a new home within a lushy designed environment.  Incorporating silent and communcal study areas, enhanced meeting and collaborative working areas, upgraded PC and AV capabilities.

The team are very happy in their new home on Level 3 after the move made way for the newly fitted Laboratory on Level 1.




SAS Labs

​This Project is the remodelling of 12 Laboratories within Sighthill Campus to increase student numbers, unsuitability of existing spaces and lack of suitable facilities.  The work carried was to alleviate some of the critical space challenges for SAS in relation to current and project student numbers, especially in the Life Sciences area (the largest subject area in the School).


The benefits of the work carried out are an improved student experience and enhanced research ability.




Electrical Vehicles Charging Points


This project was to install 5 x dual 7.4kW chargers, increasing the number of electric vehicle charging points at Sighthill.  


The University has made a commitment to increase the number of electric vehicle charging points within the Environmental Sustainability Strategy (ESS).




Occupational Health Messy Space


​​​​This project was to convert 4 rooms to provide a new OT Messy Room and associated storage at Sighthill.

ENU Health and Social Care Team are gaining accreditation for new clinical teaching in Occupational Therapy techniques.
