Examinations
Student Administration run three exam diets throughout the academic year along with a further re-assessment diet. These pages will provide information and guidance on our exams procedures.
We will publish timetables on myNapier six weeks before the start of each exam diet. Please advise students to check the timetable regularly as exam times may be subject to change. The timetable will also be available on the Exams pages.
On the day of your exam
If you have exams at the Craiglockhart, Merchiston or Sighthill Campuses, you will find the room numbers for your exams posted in the appropriate campus reception foyer. Room numbers are posted two hours prior to your exam.
If you have special exam arrangements it is essential that you report to staff based at the main receptions at Sighthill, Merchiston or Craiglockhart Campuses depending on where your exam is due to take place, approximately 30 minutes before your exam. The staff will be able to advise you of the room you have been allocated. Please note you will not always be allocated the same room.
Travelling to the campuses
For travel advice on the easiest routes between campuses, please visit the website of the Sustainability Office at Sighthill campus.
The Traveline Scotland website can help you plan your journey using the bus network.
Please also take care if you are using your own transport. There are no charges for parking on the public streets around our Sighthill campus. However, the area is very busy, with many roads full of parked cars early on and throughout the day. Staff, students and visitors, parking on the public streets, are asked to park sensibly and respect our neighbours by not parking in 'residents only' areas. Please ensure that you plan your journey, no matter what form of transport you are using, and leave sufficient time to arrive at your exam in good time.
Good luck to all our students for the forthcoming exams diet.
