Students selected for Erasmus exchange during trimester 2 are nominated and apply to host institution |

Students wishing to go on exchange next academic year seek advice from Global Mobility team regarding exchange process and academic staff regarding suitable potential modules. |

ExchangeFest – week of promotional activities including ‘Study Abroad Fair’ and social event to raise awareness of existing opportunities and offer opportunities for incoming and outgoing exchange students to meet. |

Deadline for applications for student mobility and small project grants |
November |
Students going on exchange next trimester attend obligatory pre-departure session ‘Get Ready to Go’.
Academic staff approve actual modules to be studied on exchange on the student’s Learning Agreement. |
December |
Students wishing to study abroad next academic year submit online application. Academic staff give formal approval (online) and application is forwarded to Global Mobility team. |
TRIMESTER 2
January |
Global Mobility team allocate applicants for exchange next academic year to study destinations, liaising with academic staff where necessary. |

Students selected for ISEP exchange next trimester apply to ISEP. |

Students studying in France, Germany, Spain and Italy may apply for Stevenson Scholarship. |
January-February |
Students who applied at Dec deadline are informed of the outcome. |
February |
Deadline for applications for student mobility and small project grants |
February-March |
Students selected for overseas exchange for trimester 1 or the duration of the next academic year are nominated and apply to host institution |
March-May |
Students selected for Erasmus exchange for trimester 1 or the duration of the next academic year are nominated and apply to host institution |

Global Moblility team run drop-in sessions on each campus (Mon pm Craiglockhart, Wed pm Merchiston and Sighthill) |
