The International Centre for Management and Governance Research is based in The Business School, Craiglockhart Campus, Edinburgh Napier University. The Centre was launched in Autumn 2016.

ICMGR aims to bridge academic and professional knowledge on international management and governance. It embraces a multi-disciplinary approach to research and bridges across subject groups at Edinburgh Napier. The Centre’s key themes are as follows:

Corporate governance (including executive compensation)
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) and economic governance
Critical labour market studies
Disclosures and transparency in private and public entities
Ethics, business ethics, ethical finance/investment, and Islamic finance/investment

ICMGR will do this by building the quality of academic research outputs, securing greater levels of research funding, enhancing both public engagement and the impact of our research, and building a community of world class visiting scholars and practitioners.
The Centre also works closely with the Early Career Researchers
(ECR) network within the Business School. Research clinics, workshops, seminars and other events will be announced through the ICMGR’s Facebook
