Emergency and Crisis Response Procedures

Edinburgh Napier University has developed procedures to ensure the effective management of emergency incidents and crises.  

The Emergency Response Procedures​​​​​ provide guidance to staff, students and visitors on the actions to be taken in response to a number of defined emergency situations.

The procedures to be followed in an emergency / crisis response and description of the various components of the the business continuity framework can be found in the University's Emergency & Crisis Response Planning Handbook.

The Emergency & Crisis Response Planning Handbook, along with supporting planning documentation and templates forming part of the Crisis Response Plan which cover detailed roles and responsibilities, contact details, ways of working and logistical arrangements are held on the secure SharePoint site accessible to crisis response role holders.
