Resizing images
All staff have access to a program called Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which you can use to resize images before uploading to the staff intranet. In general, images should only be resized to make them smaller - if you try to resize a small image to be larger, the quality will become poor.
To use this software, you can:
- Navigate to it in your PC's Start menu > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
- Or you can use Windows Explorer to go to the folder where your image is stored, right-click on the image and select Open With > Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
