A1: We have defined it as the lifecycle processes and underpinning governannce framework to manage all curriculum records.
Q2: What does provision mean?
A2: We use the term provision to mean all courses that we run as a university, this includes programmes (Undergraduate Postgraduate and Research), modules and credit bearing/non credit bearing short courses
Q3: So what about Programme Specification Word documents?
A3: Staff have access to downloadable reports for all versions of their provisions records via CME.
Q4: Is there a link between modules and programmes (provision)?
A4: Yes the Curriculum Management environment allows staff to dynamically navigate between module and related provision records.
Q5: I hear the Curriculum Management environment has mapping capabilities- what does this mean?
A5: The Curriculum Management environment ensures we capture the learning outcomes for modules and provision and provides the links between them. This can then be reviewed/output as required for design/approval/accreditation purposes.
Q6: My programme (provision) has professional accreditation how will this be captured?
A6: The Curriculum Management environment allows us to record professional body frameworks and show how the modules/provision meet/map to each competency.
