Sighthill Learning Resource Centre
Sighthill Learning Resource Centre offers students a range of comfortable study environments with up-to-date facilities spread over five floors. It supports the following areas of study:
Health & Social Care | Applied Sciences
Library Services
- Use our computers, scan, print & copy facilities: we have 250 networked computers and Multi Function Devices (MFDs) to print, copy & scan. There are power points and USB ports for devices on all floors and Wi-Fi is available throughout.
- Use one of our collaborative desks or booths, plasma screens and technology which enable you to link to your phone or other portable device.
- There are nine study rooms and all are fitted with computers, most are fitted with plasma screens. Study room 4.E.03 has an adjustable height desk (temporarily out of order).
- Study in silence in one of our silent rooms (3.E.07 and 4.E.07) with great views towards the Castle and Arthur’s Seat.
- Find Library collections including books, print journals and DVDs; and borrow and return them using the self-service kiosks.
- Borrow and return laptops using the self-service Lapsafe.
- Get Library and IT help from our Help Desk on LRC 2.
