Your Voice 2024

Colleague engagement is a key measure of success within our strategy.  

 

In November 2023, we invited colleagues to take part in a Your Voice Pulse Survey to provide a 'temperature check' on how we're doing in response to the feedback we received in 2022.  

 

From the results of the Pulse Survey, we know that 78% of respondents are proud to work for the University, compared to 71% in 2022, and 74% of respondents would recommend Edinburgh Napier as a good place to work, that's increased from 67% in the previous survey. These positive results tell us that we are moving forward to achieving our goal of becoming a great place to work. 

 

We also seen that 42% of respondents believe that action will be taken because of this survey. Although this is not a high percentage, it has increased from 34% in the 2022 survey.  There is, of course, more to do to improve on this, therefore the Senior Leadership Team will continue to prioritise colleague engagement.   

 

Our 2024 Your Voice survey, continues to give colleagues the opportunity to let us know what matters to them most.  Continuously listening and understanding the experience of our colleagues is critical and emphasises the importance we place on our people, as the home of difference makers. 

 

The 2024 survey is our last full survey before we move to a more frequent listening approach incorporating additional 'listening points' through targeted surveys.  These will include measures of overall colleague engagement whilst also seeking feedback on specific topics of interest such as wellbeing, reward/recognition, and inclusion.  This will allow us to measure colleague engagement on an ongoing basis at different points of the year.  

 

The Your Voice survey will launch on Tuesday 4 June and remain open for three weeks and close on Tuesday 25 June.  Please take the time to respond and give us your feedback.
