Consequently we have drawn up new procedures for the way in which staff can request network access accounts for visiting or temporary students, staff or personnel.
Associate staff/personnel who require account access to the University network must be authenticated through the HR database. How do I request this account….
ALL other visitors be they temporary or contractual should use the Event Accounts System. This system has been designed to provide accounts to allow access the University’s network for a specific and approved purpose. Find out more...

Wi-Fi only access for temporary and visiting students, staff and personnel
Visiting staff and students who are already connected to eduroam via their own device will get Wi-Fi access automatically.
Visiting staff and students with access to eduroam must have added their own device to their eduroam network at their institution / university before they arrive.
The Cloud wifi network is provided on our campuses for use by visitors who do not have an eduroam account.
