Staff Sustainability Network
The Staff Sustainability Network was set up to bring colleagues from across the University together in a place where they could share ideas about how we can incorporate sustainability in the way we live and work.
It allows colleagues from different roles to bring forward their own experience and expertise, so we can work together and feed back ideas.
Through our University Values and Behaviours, we are all encouraged to "use resources in ways that are efficient and minimise any impact on the environment".
Meeting Minutes
At our last meeting on Monday 28 June we spoke through and discussed the Actions, Commitments & Progress working document. Conversation mainly centred around opportunities to investigate and discuss fossil fuel divestment from pension funds. Minutes to follow.
Within our 2020/21 academic year we set-up monthly meetings with Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (ENSA), the Edinburgh Napier Sustainable Society and representatives from the University to share and discuss all areas of environmental sustainability.
