University Information Governance Group
The purpose of the University Information Governance Group (UIGG) is to ensure that the University maintains compliance with its statutory obligations under the GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004, and Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and any other related information management legislation, and develops related best practice guidance.
