Preparing Students for University

We offer a range of generic and tailored support for students entering the University. The aims are to raise awareness of what studying at university means, provide opportunities to enhance key academic skills and strengthen confidence.

The support available includes:

• Pre-entry visits.  We work in partnership with colleges and external organisations to arrange visits to Edinburgh Napier for specific groups of students.
  
• Signposts for Success. These one-day academic skills workshops are designed for college-entrants into Business School, Communication Advertising & PR, Nursing, Social Sciences and Sport & Exercise Science
• Get Ready for University Study is an online resource which provides information about studying at Edinburgh Napier and an easy-to-use introduction to key study skills.
